Kay’s practice is concentrated in the fields of income taxation, estates and trust law. Her experience consists of planning, research and compliance functions involving individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and estate taxation, including Internal Revenue Service, state and local tax representation, and retirement benefits planning and compliance. She counsels and represents individuals and business owners, with an emphasis on high net worth individuals, professional service corporations, and closely held business entities. Kay has lectured on topics in the field of individual and business tax planning and compliance.

Kay has served as an officer of the Taxation Section of the ACBA, Co-President and member of the Executive Board of the WBA, member of the Board of ACBA Services, Inc., Executive Board Member and Chairperson of the Tax Committee of the PICPA, Pittsburgh Chapter, and member of the Board of the Pittsburgh Council on Public Education. Kay and her husband Tom reside in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh.
